Tell me something about storytelling that fascinates you and what you think the world should know about?

Brahim Daldali:
Every story is a piece of advice and wisdom. You get entertained but also you get to know one thing better about life through stories. The morals in the stories we tell goes along way. Because our stories truly change people’s lives because we equip our audiences with templates of life and moral lessons that they will use and share within their families and communities.

Zouhair:
Storytelling is a spiritual experience when I tell and engage my audience we all transfer into a state of trance in which we all experience the story in the 5 senses and that is the power and transcendence of the craft.

Mohsine Touel:
What fascinates me about storytelling is how the stories passed from one generation to another and how our ancestors held the responsibility of keeping many stories alive till today. More importantly, I am amazed in how a single story travelled across  civilisations. More and more stories are told by different tongues in various lands throughout history by keeping the same ingredients that exist in most of the versions with some differences in details. Just like Cinderella story, which is Haina in the Moroccan version, and Rhodôpis in the Egyptian version. The stories persevere the same backbone, but they vary according to the culture and the traditions of the land. This fact made me believe that stories were an international language back then and a meeting points for civilisations.
